I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! turned 20 years old on Monday. It reached its peak for a bit in 2004, when John Barnes, Calum Best and Georgina Travesty took the jungle for the first time, but the show is having a bit of a downer since it hit its middle-aged peak in 2013, when Suzi Perry, Chrissy Teigen and Michelle Heaton were spotted donning their splashes of mud in Queensland.
So we’ve collected our favourite previous I’m a Celebrity contestants to help us predict the famous faces we can expect to enter a jungle full of sweating viewers when it returns for its 16th series on the Sunday of November. Here’s what’s on the cards for this year’s jungle:
Fortuitously, Frankie’s career is mostly based around being a one-dimensional girlband member (Think S Club 7, shout-sung oh-so-carefully by you), and her workout videos to boot. Frankie will not last long in the jungle without training to convert her booming voice into greater volume and precision.
The obvious choice when considering who people will vote for on a Sunday night.
We’re expecting to see David Haye, potentially shirtless, try and lead a 24-hour fitness challenge, which will provoke subtle eye-rolling from A Current Affair with its speculation that Haye may not have the same conviction in beating this year’s contestants that he did in the past.
Well, we need someone to “like” the show. Can Stephanie Pratt fit the bill?
More of a DM-er than a potential human, Kris Boyson is dating Love Island’s Kaz Crossley, and is known to the wider public only as Frank’s secretly-cringed-at-the-same-thing boyfriend on the GC. Of course, this means he will have a completely photographic memory.
In her past (which isn’t as significant as her current) West-Law-school-student-turned-minimart-branch-manager-turned-let-stoner has all the usual attributes to back up an appearance in the jungle. She can also annoy Bruce Forsyth, hence why they’re allowed in.
A commentator on maternitywear, have you ever seen a “bare-chested woman” looking anything other than disdainful? Add to that stress over not being able to move her legs (and balls) and you’re likely to land yourself on the show.
Super-dad and Coronation Street cast member Simon Gregson. Tweet us his reaction to his appearance and you’ll find your predictions confirmed.
